Meet Ian and Bill
Together, Ian Davis and Bill Trengove have over a couple of lifetimes of experience in the learning and development profession both nationally and internationally.
Ian Davis
Ian was educated in Australia and is the Director of Learning and Facilitation with Brain Boost and is co-currently the Managing Director of Insight International Consultancy – an Australian owned Workforce Development and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that operates throughout Australasia and South East Asia.
His areas of interest and study include executive development, business administration, organisational design and development, critical praxis as well as brain based research and its implications for workplace learning and change.
For over 30 years Ian has been recognised as an outstanding leader, researcher, educationalist and facilitator. He has been at the leading edge of organisational and human resource development. He is well recognised within Australian business, educational and training arenas and this recognition has led to him facilitating training sessions and speaking at a range of conferences across Australia.
With highly developed presentation skills Ian is well known for his innovative and engaging seminars and workshops. Ian has outstanding interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to present information and engage people in learning processes in ways that enthuse and motivate people to action. His excellent understanding of adult learning principles and group dynamics further supports his quality facilitation.
Bill Trengove
Bill was educated in Australia. He is the Director of Networks and Business Administration within Brain Boost and is co-currently the Managing Director of Polson Human Resource and Training Brokers (SA) Pty Ltd.
His qualifications include Business, Human Resource Management Educational Administration, Adult Education and Electrical Engineering. He has over 30 years experience in the education, training and management of people in Australia and in Canada. Bill is a previous President of the Institute of Management Consultants.
Bill’s areas of specialisation include developing strategic plans, continuous improvement plans and design options for organisations involved in rapid change; providing tools and techniques to increase the productivity of work teams and conducting Enterprise Reviews.
Facilitation services have become increasingly important for Bill over these past few years and he is now utilising ZING – a set of 10 wireless keyboards, notebook computer and data projector, capturing individual or group ideas for brainstorming, problem solving, strategic planning and evaluation.
Bill recognises the significant value that authentic networks bring to professional business relationships and works on a number of fronts to further develop and enhance the networking skills of others. He is well known for his warm hearted and jovial outlook and his commitment, dedication and down to earth nature makes him a valued business colleague.
Together Ian and Bill are the Directors of Brain Boost.
